TOURISM - Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre - Tamar Visitor Centre
Are you interested in promoting the world class tourism that Tasmania has to offer? Do you want to learn more about our local history and share that with others? Would you like to assist visitors to our region? Perhaps you have handy maintenance skills you can put to good use with our historic museum attractions?
West Tamar Council offers tourism related volunteering opportunities at the Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Center and the Tamar Visitor Center (Exeter).
Various positions are available for people with a range of skills and interests: retail, administration, tour guiding, customer service, bookings and tourist advice, research and record keeping, and general maintenance.

WINDSOR COMPUTER HUB The Windsor Computer Hub located at the Windsor Community Precinct in Riverside offers a tutoring service for all ages to learn how to use electronic devices (computers, mobile phones, tablets) or to update their computer skills (internet, word formatting, social media etc). If you consider yourself a technology or computer whiz and like to help others we would love to hear from you! We currently have two dedicated tutors working across three days but would love to offer more the use of this popular facility during the week.
