Draft Amendment AMD 03/24 and Planning Permit PA2024132 to the Local Provisions Schedule – 11 Upper McEwans Road, Legana

Pursuant to sections 37, 38 and 40T of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993, Council has initiated a draft amendment to the Tasmanian Planning Scheme Local Provisions Schedule together with a planning permit application.

Amendment 03/24 proposes to:

a)       Rezone land at 11 Upper McEwans Road, Legana, (described as CT174506/1) from Agriculture Zone to Low Density Residential Zone;

b)      Amend the Specific Area Plan WTS-S3.0 Residential Supply and Density Specific Area Plan overlay, to apply to 11 Upper McEwans Road, Legana (described as CT174506/1).

Planning Permit PA2024132 proposes to:

a)       Subdivide 11 Upper McEwans Road, Legana into three (3) lots.

 The exhibition period is from 25 November 2024 until 5.00pm 23 December 2024.

 The draft amendments and planning permit and supporting documents are attached below:

-          Application documents

-          The planner’s assessment of the application

-          Minutes of the Council meeting initiation

-          Signed and Sealed Amendment instrument

-          Draft planning permit for the subdivision
